P.S. Happy Lunar New Year!
It arrived in the mail today from France, and a wave of nostalgia waved over me while ripping off the plastic wrapping as a distinct scent hit my nostrils. The scent immediately reminded me of fresh new yearbooks at the end of the school year. Back then I couldn’t wait to flip through those pages containing all the greatest memories of the year, and I certainly didn’t wait to jump into “All Gone: The Finest of Street Culture 2012” today.
Just like our yearbooks, “All Gone” features something for every stereotype in school plus so much more!
and my personal favorite, MEAN GIRLS:
Now there’s no way I would ever be able to acquire everything in this book just like I don’t talk to about 90% of my high school friends, but years from now I know I’ll enjoy flipping through memories. Now if I could just get all the designers/collaborators/artists to sign my All Gone yearbook!
Red book limited to 750 copies and already sold out online. Black limited to 1250 copies and can still be purchased here.
Welcome 2013! Hope everyone had some great New Year celebrations with family and friends. To help ring in the new year I’ve decided to post some of Proenza Schouler’s PS13s and PS11s in amazing new colors and finishes.
I’m seriously feening for all of these, especially the PS11 Hologram which of course has been sold out. I don’t currently own any Proenza bags, but I think I’m gonna make it one of my new year’s resolutions to acquire one this year. Dunno why I’ve waited so long.
Share my resolution and buy yours here!

Shoes and bags and bags and shoes, and they’re on sale! What more could a girl ask for???
Loeffler Randall shoes always have just the right amount of uniqueness and wearability to get people asking “where are your shoes from?” And if you don’t own a Rebecca Minkoff bag by now this is your chance to amp up your everyday street style on the cheap. I went to the sale last year and left with some pretty great stuff. There were even dresses, pants, and shoes still selling for regular price in retail stores.
Check the fliers below for info, and I’m heading out now!
Here’s the first item on sale today for Loeffler Randall’s 12 Days of Christmas. LR Slip-on Rain Boot. Originally $150, Now $75!
UPDATE: Many items already sold out on neimanmarcus.com, but all items still available on target.com. Some crazy people are already posting items with ridiculous mark ups on eBay. Don’t be fooled, as of now I don’t think most items will be selling out.
I have always desired to own one of the late great Alexander McQueen’s knuckle duster clutches, but unfortunately could never bring myself to fork up two to three thousand dollars on such a small bag. Well this year they made it even harder to resist with the introduction of the Snowflake Knucklebox Clutch.
Featuring white Nappa leather exterior and interior & Swarovski crystal skull and snowflake ring details it is the perfect winter accessory. With a $3200 price point I’d have no more cash left to fill it with, but at least I’d still look amazing with only my I.D. and lip gloss inside. If you’re lucky enough to get one or wanna make someone really happy this Christmas the clutch is exclusive to Alexander McQueen flagship stores and alexandermcqueen.com
While on the site I was able to take my eyes off the clutch for a few seconds to notice some other lust worthy items (some with more realistic price points).
Who didn’t want a Cambridge satchel when they first started popping up all over blogs and on celebrity shoulders? I think the neon collection was probably the biggest hit; but no, I still didn’t grab any of those despite the low price points. And now I’m so glad I waited.
The UK based masters of digital prints Basso & Brooke have teamed up with the Cambridge Satchel Company to produce 3 limited edition leather satchels. Only 100 units of each bag were made, and all are covered in the duo’s amazing power prints from their A/W 2012 collection. I think the combination of classic structured leather and modern digital imagery is what makes these so perfect.
How amazing are their prints? If you’re lucky enough to get one, be sure to expect a plethora of envious stares and inquiries.
All are available for pre-order now via Basso & Brooke
Been seeing pins of this swimming chick all over Pinterest and actually pinned her myself a few months back; but it wasn’t until recently that I stumbled upon the source: Los Angeles based streetwear brand Stampd. After perusing through their website I realized so many of their items are not only DOPE but also limited (usually to around 50 pieces).
Browse through a few of my favorite pieces below
Yeah I admit some items might be a bit obvious, but who doesn’t secretly smile inside when someone walking by randomly tells you “that’s a Dope hat!”?
Also, don’t miss out on their event November 8 at American Rag on La Brea featuring limited collection pieces and one of a kind art.
