It’s All About The Memories

It arrived in the mail today from France, and a wave of nostalgia waved over me while ripping off the plastic wrapping as a distinct scent hit my nostrils.  The scent immediately reminded me of fresh new yearbooks at the end of the school year.  Back then I couldn’t wait to flip through those pages containing all the greatest memories of the year, and I certainly didn’t wait to jump into “All Gone: The Finest of Street Culture 2012” today.

Now there’s no way I would ever be able to acquire everything in this book just like I don’t talk to about 90% of my high school friends, but years from now I know I’ll enjoy flipping through memories.  Now if I could just get all the designers/collaborators/artists to sign my All Gone yearbook!

Shoes and bags and bags and shoes, and they’re on sale! What more could a girl ask for???

Loeffler Randall shoes always have just the right amount of uniqueness and wearability to get people asking “where are your shoes from?” And if you don’t own a Rebecca Minkoff bag by now this is your chance to amp up your everyday street style on the cheap. I have always desired to own one of the late great Alexander McQueen’s knuckle duster clutches, but unfortunately could never bring myself to fork up two to three thousand dollars on such a small bag.  Well this year they made it even harder to resist with the introduction of the Snowflake Knucklebox Clutch.

Basso & Brooke X Cambridge Satchel Company

Who didn’t want a Cambridge satchel when they first started popping up all over blogs and on celebrity shoulders? I think the neon collection was probably the biggest hit; but no, I still didn’t grab any of those despite the low price points.  And now I’m so glad I waited.

The UK based masters of digital prints Basso & Brooke have teamed up with the Cambridge Satchel Company to produce 3 limited edition leather satchels.  Only 100 units of each bag were made, and all are covered in the duo’s amazing power prints from their A/W 2012 collection.  I think the combination of classic structured leather and modern digital imagery is what makes these so perfect.

A Dope Post

Been seeing pins of this swimming chick all over Pinterest and actually pinned her myself a few months back; but it wasn’t until recently that I stumbled upon the source: Los Angeles based streetwear brand Stampd.  After perusing through their website I realized so many of their items are not only DOPE but also limited (usually to around 50 pieces).
